Fun, Mostly LogicalWhile I don't know if I would call everything in this book a “logic” puzzle, it certainly had fun activities to get a child thinking。 This book is organized into topics—jungle, outer space, city escapes, pirates, and dinosaurs。 Each section has quite a few pages with different activities。 Some are shadow recognition, fill in the next logical object or number based on the pattern of the previous ones, or figure out what might be missing (among others)。 The ones that were numeri Fun, Mostly LogicalWhile I don't know if I would call everything in this book a “logic” puzzle, it certainly had fun activities to get a child thinking。 This book is organized into topics—jungle, outer space, city escapes, pirates, and dinosaurs。 Each section has quite a few pages with different activities。 Some are shadow recognition, fill in the next logical object or number based on the pattern of the previous ones, or figure out what might be missing (among others)。 The ones that were numerical went either forwards or backwards, advancing or retreating by one number or two。 Even though each page had a simple line of direction, I was still unsure about what the child was supposed to do for some pages。 A flick back to the answers didn't always help either。 (I still don’t understand the Moon Rocks one!) So, some pages should have been more clear about what the publisher was going for and what the child should do。 I loved that one of the first pages in the outer space section was to connect the dots to actually make constellations! How fun! Other than the lack of clarity of what to do on certain pages, I thought this was a fun book that kids will enjoy as well as give them practice with pattern recognition in a variety of ways。I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review。My book blog: https://www。readingfanaticreviews。com 。。。more

A great collection of Logic Puzzles。 I’m absolutely sure kids will have a pretty good time resolving them。 Some puzzles are easier than others so no matter what age the kid is, they can always find some they can solve。 There is a great variety of themes so everyone can choose。These exercises are very good for the mind, so even elder people can do them。I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review。
